Makeda Marley Daughter Of Bob Marley Pleads Guilty To Ganja Charge

Makeda Marley, the daughter of the late King of Reggae Bob Marley, earlier this week pleads guilty to charges braught against her for possession of Marijuana.

On Tuesday, Makeda who is 29 years old pleaded guilty to the manufacture of a controlled substance and tampering with physical evidence.

The charges stem from a 2008 incident where cops were called in to her premises for an alleged domestic dispute. Its reported that cops saw Makeda removing Marijuana plants from the back of her home and subsequently search the premises where almost a dozen plants were discovered.

Prosecutors have withdrawn a mandatory one-year prison sentence as part of a plea deal. Marley is due to be sentenced next month.
