Yesterday we report to you that authorities have removed Reggae singer Buju Banton to another holding facility following the revelation that one of his co-defendants has decided to testify against him.
Today we have more perturbing news about Gargamel’s situation. News reaching Dancehall HipHop is that Buju other codefendant also struck a deal with the prosecutor to testify against him.
The second codefendant, James Mack signed off to a deal to assist the authorities in convicting Banton of the charges laid against him. The deal means that the Defendant agrees to fully cooperate with the United States in the investigation and prosecution of other persons, and to testify, subject to a prosecution for perjury or making a false statement, fully and truthfully before any federal court proceeding or federal grand jury in connection with the charges in this case.
If convicted Banton could be facing 20 years to life in imprisonment.
