Dancehall deejay Mr Lexx is finally back in Jamaica after spending more than a year in New York for legal troubles.
Lexx, whose real name is Christopher Palmer, has been missing from the local scene since October last year when he was arrested after a woman reported to the police that he sexually molested her.
According to report, the woman was in her room at a hotel in Queens, New York, when the deejay forced himself on her. A police complained was files and Lexx was arrested and charge. The deejay’s travel documents were seize, which resulted in him being unable to travel back home to Jamaica.
The charges were subsequently dropped earlier this year, however, the dancehall artist was required to serve three days of community service and to show this as proof at a later date to the court. Lexx passport will be returned as he will be able to get his life back to normal.
Lexx lengthy stay in the States did bring some good to the artists, as he spend a lot of his time recording new material, as well as, some acting and modelling duties. Lexx recorded songs such as Buss a Wine, I Can Transform Ya and Let It Pop featuring Esco. He can also be seen in films such as ‘Wha Do Dem’ and ‘Out The Gate’.
