Manager and father of young dancehall star QQ, Joseph ‘GQ’ Dawkins is facing charges of unlawful wounding is the Kingston Corporate Resident Magistrate Court.
According to report, Dawkins attacked and wound another man with a broken glass bottle.
Allegations are that sometime between 4:45 p.m., and 5 p.m., on May 1st of this year, the complainant and Dawkins had a disagreement which led both men to use abusive language to each other.
Dawkins is said to have broken a soda glass bottle and used it to inflict a wound to the upper middle section of the complainant’s right hand, causing it to bleed.
After a police investigation, Dawkins was arrested and charged. His bail was extended until June 15, when he is scheduled to return to court.
