Cassidy Arrested On Probation Violation, Not Murder

Initial reports suggested that Cassidy was wanted for murder and two attempted murders, but that isn’t the case.

New reports contradicts the first, Cassidy is not wanted for murder and two attempted murders, the rapper was arrested for violating his probation in a previous issue.

The Philadelphia Police Department’s public affairs office told XXLMag.com that Cassidy was taken into custody for probation violation for a previous aggravated assault incident in Philadelphia.

“In reference to the recent inquires regarding Barry Reese (aka Cassidy), on Saturday, May 14, 2011, Reese was arrested by Hackensack Police for a probation violation for a previous aggravated assault incident in Philadelphia,” the department said.

Adding, “Reese was placed in probation violation status for non-reporting only. Reese is currently being held in Bergen County Prison awaiting extradition to Philadelphia. Reese is not wanted for any other crime / violation in Philadelphia.”
