Drake invades his hometown of Toronto in the MuchMusic special “Drake: The Homecoming.”
Drizzy was greeted by hundreds of fans, who brave the cold and rain outside for their idol to sign autographs. After socializing with fans, the “Take care” rapper sat down with reporter T-rex and reflected on the past, shared why Rihanna was the perfect fit for Take Care‘s title track, and answered questions from fans.
“Kids in class made fun of me all the time. I was never popular. I wasn’t cool. I’m cool now though. Things change,” said Drake. “I really just want to be something positive for this generation.”
Producers Boi-1da and T-Minus also made an appearance in the video footages.
This week it is rumored that Drake will be leaving his label Young Money for Roc Nation after he reportedly fired his management team.
