Dancehall star Bounty Killer has been receiving overwhelming support from artistes and fans around dancehall circles since the passing of his mother Miss Ivy.
Bounty Killer mother, Miss Ivy Williams, passed away last weekend at the age of 71. Since breaking the news on Twitter, Bounty Killer has received condolence from some unexpected places including a phone call straight from the remand center from former protege Vybz Kartel.
Sources close to the deejay told Dancehall HipHop that Vybz Kartel were among several dancehall celebrities to call Bounty Killer and send condolence earlier this week.
“Despite their differences, Vybz Kartel still hold a great deal of respect for Bounty Killer,” the source said.
Longtime rival Beenie Man send his condolence via Twitter before following it up with a phone call.
