Young Money’s first lady Nicki Minaj has reportedly score a multi-million dollar campaign with Pepsi’s new beverage called “Pop.”
Forbes magazine reported that the deal will rake in a 7 figure income for the rap diva. The commercial was recently filmed in Argentina at a Nicki Minaj concert.
“You’ll see the commercial probably in the next two months,” said Derek Jackson, a representative of the agency, Glu, who broker the deal.
“That’ll be a segue into a new beverage Pepsi has, called ‘Pop,’ and she’ll be the face of the brand… It’s going to be explosive,” Jackson added.
Nicki Minaj is gearing up to release her sophomore album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded on April 3rd. Tracklisting from the LP revealed collaborations with Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Drake, Cam’ron, 2 Chainz and dancehall star Beenie Man.
