Nicki Minaj is on edge ahead of the release of her upcoming music video for her smash single “Starships.”
The Young Money first lady said it is her best video yet and she cannot wait for its debut.
“I’m freaking out because the video is taking way too long,” Nicki Minaj told Capital FM. “When it comes out it’s going to be very, very saucy and very exciting, and it’s going to be lots of fun and probably going to be my best one yet.”
Nicki Minaj heats up Hawaii earlier this month, clad in Bikini on the beach for the video shoot.
“I went out to Hawaii and I met a lot of beautiful Hawaiian men that were so amazing—I just didn’t want to leave. We shot the video on the beach, we shot the video in the mountains. It was just dope, the scenery was amazing.”
“You can expect to feel like, you know what, let’s get out the bikinis. Let’s go and have a good time. A shout out to everyone on spring break right now. It’s just one of those records that feels good and the video compliments that.”
Nicki Minaj also shot the video for her 2 Chainz assisted single “Beez In The Trap” in Miami.
In addition to “Starships,” Nicki also recently shot a video for her street record “Beez in the Trap” with 2 Chainz.
