Adidjahiem Records Denies Vybz Kartel Recording From Behind Bars

Vybz Kartel’s record label Adidjahiem Records representatives have stepped forward to address rumors that the dancehall star has been recording new material from behind bars.

Over the last several weeks Vybz Kartel has released a slew of new singles including “Summer Time Pt2,” “I Smoke Weed,” “Death Row,” “Dweet Wi A Dweet,” and the most recent “Back To Life.” These singles sparks speculations that the deejay found some ingenious way to record the vocals while being locked up in the Horizon Adult Remand Centre. However, his label representatives says not so.

“The lyrics from Back to Life that was released by U.I.M. Records, were recorded by Adidjahiem Records during the Dudus extradition – the original title was Me Waan Go Home,” Elvis Redwood of So Unique Records said.

“Those same lyrics were re-used on a different track to create “Back to Life,” Redwood added.

If found with any recording equipment inside his jail cell, Vybz Kartel could face punishment.
