Nicki Minaj Pulls Out Hot 97 Summer Jam After Rosenberg Diss [Video]

Young Money rapper Nicki Minaj was a no show at yesterday’s Hot 97 Summer Jam in New Jersey.

According to reports, the Harajuku Barbie pulled out of the show she headlined just hours before the show. The decision was made after a subliminal diss from host Peter Rosenberg.

“We’re all about that real hip-hop, not ‘Starships,'” Rosenberg said, referring to Minaj’s single.

Nicki Minaj’s YMCMB label boss Lil Wayne immediately took to Twitter to say, “Young Money ain’t doing summer jam.”

Minaj also hit up her fans on Twitter soon after saying, “Wow. U n—az just fed up history. But the President has spoken. #YMCMB.”

“I go above and beyond for my fans. But won’t ever go against Wayne’s word. What he says, goes,” Nicki Minaj added.

Nicki Minaj was set to headline the show along with legendary rappers Nas and Lauryn Hill.

Hot 97 DJ Funkmaster Flex also fired shots at Nicki Minaj during his DJ set.

“We ain’t fu**in’ with commercial rappers no more,” Flex said. “If you lost the fu**in’ streets, it’s your fault.”

Rosenberg later wrote on his own Twitter, “Tonight just got interesting g.”
