Nicki Minaj is not the first celebrity to be on fans wrong side for diva behavior and she certainly won’t be the last.
According to reports, the Young Money barbie was 50 minutes late for her gig at T In The Park last weekend. But that’s not even the worse; the UK Sun alleges that the rapper demanded the lawn to be cut at the area around her dressing room.
“Nicki went off on one about the grass around her area, saying it was far too long for her to walk on,” a source said.
“She threw a complete strop, pouting and pointing and asking someone to get a lawnmower to sort it out,” the source added.
After taking the stage almost an hour late, fans grew so angry that they started booing during her set. Some even walked out to see another performance from Jon McClure and the boys.
Singer Frank Turner tweeted his frustration with the rapper, calling on her to show some respect for the crew.
“You can (I suppose) be a d*** to your own crew, you’re paying them. But everyone else? Not to mention the people out front. Ugh,” Turner said on Twitter, before adding, “To clarify: Nicki Minaj has been a selfish s***head to all the hard-working crew backstage at T. Pathetic. F*** off.”
