Beanie Sigel Gets 2 Years Prison Sentence On Tax Evasion Charges [DETAILS]

Former Roc-A-Fella Records rapper Beanie Sigel is heading to prison for two years after being convicted on tax charges.

According to reports, Sigel owes the IRS over $700,000 in federal income tax after failing to file returns from 2003-2005.

Beanie Sigel, whose real name is Dwight Grant, pleaded guilty to the charges in a Philadelphia U.S District Court.

Sigel also complained about members of his family who he says spent his money while he was serving time in prison in 2004 and 2005 for gun crimes.

“I haven’t been able to get my career back on track since,” Sigel said.

Beanie Sigel must report to prison by September.
