Radio Station Banned Rick Ross, Lil Wayne Music, Rozay Issue Statement

Rick Ross and Lil Wayne found themselves on the wrong side of angry fans and radio stations after releasing songs with less than acceptable lyrics.

One radio station has gone as far as banning both rappers music from playing on air. This came only days after Rick Ross appeared on Rocko’s a new single “YounEEnKnoIT” where he rap about [email protected] a woman.

WUVS -103.7 in Muskegon, Mich. issued a statement last weekend saying they will no longer play Rick Ross and Lil Wayne music.

“Effective immediately Muskegon’s WUVSlp 103.7 the Beat has pulled ALL Lil Wayne and Rick Ross music from rotation. We pride ourselves on playing music that is non-degrading and non-violent. While we believe in freedom of speech, creative writing and individualism, we refuse to be part of the problem by spreading messages that could harm or end someone’s life.”

Rozay has since address the growing situation during an interview with New Orleans radio station Q93.
