Romain Virgo Says “Dancehall Here I Comes”

In the past we’ve seen artists such as Sizzla Kalonji, Fantan Mojah, Natural Black and more record hardcore dancehall hits.

Former Rising Star champ, Romain Virgo, says his age group fans mostly gravitate towards dancehall.

“We always do a one dancehall song from time to time,” Virgo told the Star. “I am young and young people go for dancehall, so I have to sing something for them. This song is positive and it’s about people who feel like dem badda dan God and so far people love it.”

“We just do good music,” Virgo continues. “I never try to make a hit yet, we just do music and follow vibe. I pride myself in doing positive music and will keep it that way. People are not going to hear a negative song from Romain Virgo. This rhythm sounded aggressive and different, so I decided to talk about people who believe they are badda than God. I am coming out of my element and the majority of the people love it.”

Last month Romain Virgo drop a new single titled “Scare Movie,” off the Afterlife Riddim, produced by JA Production.
