Former Vybz Kartel protege Doza Medicine maybe facing some jail time for allegedly boxing a female.
According to reports, a 17-year-old female filed a police reports claiming that the aspiring dancehall deejay slapped her in the face after she called him an ‘iron balloon.’
Doza Medicine, born Andrew Cardoza, appeared in the Spanish Town Resident Magistrate’s Court yesterday to answer to charges of assault occasioning bodily harm.
This is what allegedly went down:
–The female complainant exited an hair salon in Portmore on March 13.
–Doza Medicine approached her and told her to get a better hairstyle and stop wearing old woman brassiere.
–The female complainant then told him “Gweh caan bus. Yuh a iron balloon.”
–That infuriates Doza, who cut her two box, while his friend Andrew Saunders hurled expletives at her.
–The female filed a police report and Doza and Saunders were arrested.
Both men were granted bail and are scheduled to return to court on August 2.
Doza Medicine is a former member of the disband Portmore Empire.
