Time Constrains Push Tessanne Chin Performance On The Voice To Tuesday

Tessanne Chin will have to wait another day to make her debut on season 5 of The Voice.

The reggae songstress is one of few contestants that didn’t get their chance to auditioned on Monday’s season premiere of the fifth installment of the popular talent show.

“Unfortunately I don’t know if it’s tonight tomorrow, but thank you for your support,” Tessanne Chin tweeted moments ago.

The “Hideaway” singer will be looking to wow the judges in the red chairs tomorrow when the show returns to NBC at 8 p.m. ET.

On Monday night tens of thousands of Jamaicans at home and abroad tuned in to NBC to see Tessanne performed. She saw some strong support on Facebook and Twitter, with a legion of reggae fans cheering her on.

Tessanne Chin is the sister of singer Tami Chynn. She rose to fame with her 2006 smash hit single “Hideaway.”

Former judges CeeLo Green and Christina Aguilera returned to season 5 of The Voice after Usher and Shakira left the show.

    “.. missed her debut on season 5 of The Voice BY A SLIM MARGIN”?? Are you for real or just making it up as you go along…the entire debut takes two shows to present!! Come on man!

  4. It’s not a live show. No one knows when they’ll be on at this point. Only the producers know who’s going to be on each episode, so there was no slim margin to make. It was all planned.
    Maybe she’ll be on tomorrow, but Blind Auditions on The Voice tend to run over 2 weeks. So we could possibly be waiting until next week as well.
