Teflon Postpones European Tour

European fans of Reggae artiste Teflon will have to wait a bit longer to see him grace a stage in that region following a decision by his management to temporarily pull the plug on his upcoming tour of the continent.

Originally slated for the end of September, the tour experienced some set-back after additional documentation was requested from the organizers. The delay was further compounded by other professional commitments secured prior to the tour coupled with the promoters’ indecisiveness on Teflon’s band that was to accompany him.

According to the singer’s management, “The promoters initially wanted Teflon to undertake the tour using recorded tracks but we wanted a live band, as we believe tracks would not allow him to deliver as wholesome a performance as we would like.” He continued, “Europe is one of Teflon’s biggest market and his last tour with Sizzla Kalonji was amazing, hence now that he is returning as a solo act we have to up the ante and put our best foot forward. Therefore performing with a band would be ideal.”

“Despite us temporarily pulling the plug the tour will return early next year as we are now in dialog with a new promoter, as soon as everything is finalized we’ll make an announcement” – He added.

Meanwhile, Teflon’s reggae ballad ‘Love & Adore You’ recently topped the charts on CVM-TV Hitlist and Hype-TV VTX Countdown spending two weeks at the No.1 on each chart. Over the Heroes weekend he delivered a pair of spirited performances to fans at the University of the West Indies Integration Thursday and the much publicized Port Royal Seafood Festival the latter hosted by radio broadcaster Jenny Jenny.

The Rastafarian crooner is gearing up to premier the official video for ‘Pedal ‘ featured on the ‘Dat Nuh Hard’ rhythm compilation produced by NS Music Enterprise. The video was shot throughout the thoroughfares of the Corporate Area under the watch eyes of Icey Jace Film Factory.
