During his lengthy summation of the prosecution witnesses, Justice Lennox Campbell told jurors that they should focus on the evidence rather than sympathy for the victim or the accused men.

The judge also told the jury to not find Vybz Kartel guilty based on the content of his lyrics.

The judge and defense attorneys also lock heads on several occasions throughout his summation. On one occasion a defense attorney stormed out of the courtroom while the judge was giving his summation on text messages and BBM messages evidence in the case.

Defense attorneys have maintained that the integrity of the Blackberry smartphone was compromised by police officers in the cyber crime unit.

Vybz Kartel, born name Adidja Palmer, and his co-accused Shawn “Storm” Campbell, Kahira Jones, André St John, and Shane Williams are on trial for the murder of Clive “Lizard” Williams, who authorities say was killed on August 16, 2011 in Havendale over two missing guns.

His body was never found.
