Ex Microsoft Exec Steve Ballmer Buy L.A. Clippers For $2 Billion

The NBA has stamped its authority and now Shelly Sterling has bend under pressure to sell the L.A. Clippers NBA team.

According to reports, former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer has agreed to purchase the team for a record $2 billion.

The $2 billion offer if accepted could set the stage for what would be the highest price ever paid for an NBA team in history. By the way he would be paying cash for the Clippers.

Is the L.A. Clippers worth $2 billion? That is the question critics are asking.

But the deal will not be smooth sailing since Donald Sterling, the racist, is strongly objecting to the sale of the team.

There is also another twist to the saga. TMZ is reporting that Donald Sterling has has Alzheimer’s which make him mentally incapable of making any business decision regarding the L.A. Clippers.

Both Donald Sterling and estrange wife Shelly Sterling own 50/50 stake in the Clippers.

Steve Ballmer is worth an estimated $20 billion.
