RDX ‘Lose Yourself Tour’ Goes To Canada And The USA

Reggae Dancehall Xtraordinaires, RDX, is still one of the few Dancehall artistes or groups from Jamaica that consistently represent Dancehall music overseas.

Constantly touring, the Duo has been to parts of the world rarely seen by even some of the most popular dancehall artistes in Jamaica.

This could be due to their infectious beats and high energy music, their professionalism when conducting business or, their ability to steer clear of controversy, conflict and other dangerous behavior that has enveloped other dancehall stars.

The Duo is set to embark on another career achievement, an extensive tour of Canada and several cities in the US this September.

The tour, dubbed the ‘Lose Yourself Tour’, is based on the Duo’s highly successful collaboration with Major Lazer, currently on the brink of hitting three million views on Youtube; and will see the Duo performing their trademark high energy dancehall tracks while incorporating EDM and Reggae tracks that showcase their tremendous versatility.

This is not the first appearance of RDX in Canada as they have visited Toronto twice for club shows in recent years, the ‘Lose Yourself Tour’ however, will have them sharing the RDX brand of dancehall to a wider Canadian Market.

The 11 city tour will predominantly see RDX as the sole performer on each show, they are however not opposed to appearing on additional shows which feature other acts, Jamaican or Canadian. There are also possibilities of extending the length of the tour as additional promoters have been expressing an interest.

RDX recently returned to Jamaica after a one week blitz of appearances in Europe culminating at the ‘Reggae Jam Festival’ in Germany. This festival is a massive event in Europe, a trademark annual event which also features other top Jamaican Acts, for the dancehall duo it was a grand experience.

“It was a great experience for us performing with a live backing band before a huge audience for 45 minutes. It was just heaven, as we got to display our true showmanship, and we are very satisfied by the post-show responses.” Renegade stated.

The duo enjoys representing Jamaica both locally and internationally, and are in dialogue with Buxna- their European agents, to return to Europe later this year for a RDX LIVE tour; a full live band experience.

Expect nothing but quality projects and hard work from RDX, later this year they are set to release their first ever Reggae Album ‘Soul Poetry’.

The Official video for their ‘Hell’ single is also to be released in a few days, following the release of videos for both ‘Summertime’ and ‘Hold Yuh lane’ singles; both currently receiving rotation on television stations worldwide.

RDX’s most recent single ‘Dancehall’ has also been getting some attention and rotation.
