Dancehall artists Masicka and Delus teams up for a tribute single for Mario Deane titled “Life Keeps On Crying.”
If you have been watching the Jamaican news, Mario Deane is the 31-year-old man who died shortly after he was arrested by police officers.
According to reports, Deane was severely beaten while in police custody.
“I was motivated to do the song because I felt it was very tragic and unjust for a man to lose his life over a spliff when governments all over the world, and even Jamaican Government, are moving to legalise the tree of life, marijuana,” Masicka said.
