Rihanna has been quietly recording her 8th studio album but now details about the project is being leaked.
A title or release date is not yet set but sources close to the Bajan pop star told Dancehall HipHop that the disc could arrive by the end of this year or early next year.
“Rihanna recorded a lot of singles over the summer so it will go down to what she and her people want on the album,” the source said. “Fans can look out for the first single off the album as early as this fall.”
But that is not even the best part, the source told us that Rihanna is toying with the idea of recording a single featuring both her exes Chris Brown and Drake.
“The idea of a collaboration between Chris and Drake is definitely on the table because RiRi is good friends with both of them now and they also have worked out their differences so now that everyone is getting along well is the perfect time,” the sources revealed.
Rihanna has enlists producers including David Guetta, DJ Mustard, Nicky Romeo, Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins,” among others to work on the album.
Chris Brown recently revealed that he and Rihanna have been in contact and that he would jump at the opportunity to record with her.
Rihanna has released 7 hugely successful albums in just a decade and already is among a handful of artists with the most No. 1 singles on Billboard Hot 100.
Rihanna is also reportedly working on a concept album for the 3D animated movie Home.
She also stars in the movie with Jennifer Lopez and Steve Martin.
