Rihanna has been busy in the studio working on her new album R8, due in November.
The Bajan pop beauty has been low key working with producers including DJ Mustard, Nicky Romeo, and David Guetta.
Sources connected with the highly anticipated project told Dancehall HipHop that the album will feature guest features from Drake and Nicki Minaj.
“Rihanna recorded a single with Drake this summer and another one with Nicki Minaj in September,” the source told us.
“The album will be dope, and will bring Rihanna’s signature sound, you can bet there will be a lot of hit songs coming out of this project,” the source added.
Rihanna did hit the studio in September with Ester Dean and Nicki Minaj. Ester previously worked with Rihanna on “Rude Boy.”
Rihanna and Nicki also previously worked on the 2011 single together titled “Fly.”
Earlier this month, sources confirmed with Dancehall HipHop that the new album R8, not the real album titled, was given a November 25 release date.
“All the tracks for the album are already recorded with some bonus added to the mix to choose from, so the project is being prepped for a November 25 release date,” our sources said.
The source also told us that Rihanna could drop a new single as early as this month.
This will be Rihanna’s 8th album.
