Nicki Minaj previewed her new single “Bed Of Lies” at the 2014 MTV EMAs on Sunday night.
The emotionally charged single also features an appearance from Skylars Grey, who performed a snippet of the single with the Young Money rapper at the EMAs.
Since debuting the upcoming single there are speculations on whether or not Nicki Minaj is making references to her now ex-boyfriend Safaree Samuels.
Check out some of the lyrics for “Bed Of Lies”:
You could never make eye contact
Everything you got was based off of my contacts
You a fraud, but I’mma remain icon-stat
Balenciaga’s on my boots with the python strap
You was caught up in the rush
and you was caught up in the thrill of it
Those are some lyrics from the first verse which Nicki performed on Sunday. She posted on Twitter that the second verse has not yet been released.
The second verse of the song is not out. That's a verse someone made up n put on their site.

Sources close to the Trinidadian rapper told Dancehall HipHop that she did get really personal on the single and is in fact spilling her heart out.
“A lot of people don’t know but Nicki is an emotional person and the best way for her now to vent and release some of that emotion is through her music,” the source told us.
“She did get very personal on this record and there are much more to it which will come out when the full single is released this month,” the source added.
Last month a photo of Safaree Samuels surfaced showing him covering up all of his tattoos of Nicki Minaj.
Sources say they had a big fight over the summer where Minaj smashed up a Mercedes and kicked her boo out her house.
“Bed Of Lies” will be featured on Nicki Minaj upcoming album The PinkPrint, due on December 15.
