Legendary singer Prince was briefly hospitalized after falling ill on his private jet which made an emergency landing on Friday morning, TMZ reported.
The jet that the singer was traveling in made an emergency landing at Quad City International Airport in Moline, Illinois where paramedics took the 57-year-old singer to a local hospital at around 1 AM in the morning.
Sources say that Prince was later released from the hospital after getting treatment for flu symptoms. Prince has been reportedly fighting the flu for a few weeks now. Earlier this month he canceled two shows as a result of his illness.
On Thursday night he performed at a concert in Atlanta at a sold out show. The singer is now back home recuperating.
