Donald Glover’s Show ‘Atlanta’ Renewed For Season Two

Donald Glover, aka Childish Gambino, will be back on FX for season two of his hit show “Atlanta.”

FX has renewed the show for a second season following some impressive ratings from the moment it came out the block with the very first episode. FX has aired four episodes so far of “Atlanta” and each week the show saw a sizeable increase in viewership.

Over three million people tuned in for the premiere and that number climbed to close to four million for the second episode.

“It’s really gratifying to launch two new comedies that have received overwhelming critical acclaim right out of the gate and that are emblematic of FX’s award-winning brand,” FX Presidents of Original Programming Nick Grad and Eric Schrier told Complex magazine. “It is clear to us that ‘Atlanta’ [has] struck a nerve with viewers, which is a credit to Donald Glover’s vision.”

Atlanta aired on Tuesday nights at 10 PM on FX.
