WorldStarHipHop Founder Lee O’Denat Died From Heart Attack

Founder of Worldstarhiphop, Lee O’Denat aka Q, is dead. Q died sudden on Tuesday morning at the age of 43.

TMZ first broke the news that Q died in his sleep on Monday night. An autopsy will be conducted on his body at a later date, but sources are saying he died from a possible heart attack.

Lee O’Denat founded one of the most popular hip hop websites, WorldStarHipHop, in 2005. The video site started out promoting mixtapes for rappers before growing to become a haven for music video premieres, fight videos, and other videos of things taking place in urban America. The site also had its fair share of controversy and even face lawsuits in the past for posting material without permission. In 2011 he shocked his users when he shut down WorldStarHipHop, but it wouldn’t stay offline for too long.

Q also had a beef with 50 Cent who himself claimed that he was the one who shut down WorldStar. “I don’t know why people underestimate me. I just shut down WORLDSTAR for future advertising contact thisis50.com s*ckers lol,” 50 Cent wrote on Twitter at the time. “I put worldstar to bed, you don’t believe try me I will shut your sh*t down. Lol.”

The G-Unit rapper says that he don’t think WorldStarHipHop was “good representation of black people as a whole.” 50 also filed a lawsuit against the site in 2009 for using his fame and likeness without his permission. Seems the “Get Rich or Die Trying” rapper had a serious vendetta against Q. Wonder what is he thinking right now.

RIP Q
