Nicki Minaj Says Her Song With Lil Wayne and David Guetta Is Fire

Nicki Minaj is on the verge of dropping some new music with Lil Wayne and David Guetta that she is saying is straight fire.

The Young Money rapper released two new singles that Lil Wayne is featured on this month and now she is getting ready to drop a third one which also features David Guetta titled “Light My Body Up.” The dance song will be released this Friday (March 24) and may appear on Guetta’s upcoming project. Sources told DHH that the single was recorded last month and that the Trini rapper is excited about it as she builds some press and airtime ahead of her big project coming sometime this year.

“This is definitely another big move design to keep her on the airwaves and in the press ahead of her new album,” sources said. “The album is almost done and I can tell you it will be her biggest project to date. She spends a lot of time on it so the wait will be worth it.”

Nicki Minaj has been busy in the studio since the start of the year while working on her new album. She shoots a video last weekend for her new single “No Frauds” featuring Lil Wayne and Drake in London. That single debut at No. 14 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart this week and is expected to climb even further when the video is released. She also released “Regret In Your Tears” and “Change It” which also features Weezy.

There are no release date or title for the album, but our sources told us that it will arrive later this year and will have a lot of dancehall influence. Lil Wayne is also working on an upcoming mixtape and there are words from his camp that the long awaited shelved album Tha Carter V could be on its way this year.
