Chris Brown Kicks Off ‘The Party Tour’ Without 50 Cent

Chris Brown has hit the road with his “The Party Tour” without one of his main headliners 50 Cent.

The first show on the tour was on Friday night (March 31) at the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore and 50 Cent was nowhere near in sight. Nevertheless, thousands of fans packed inside the venue to see Chris Brown and the rest of his guests perform including Fabolous, Kap G, and O.T. Genasis. The concert was well received with Breezy putting on a show for his fans.

Brown and his team went all out for the production which includes a jumbotron with a countdown to the tour kick-off. DJ Khaled also offered up some narrative saying “They don’t want us to win. So we gon’ win more. They don’t want us to party, so Chris Brown’s bringing you ‘The Party Tour.’”

As to why 50 Cent is not on the tour that is still not clear but TMZ reported that Chris Brown and his people simply just can’t afford the rap mogul. 50 Cent also told his fans on Instagram that he is busy filming his new movie Den of Thieves so backing out of the tour was all due to scheduling conflicts. “I would never say my friends can’t afford me,” he said. “This run wasn’t handled correctly, I’m still on set filming Den of Thieves.” Both parties attempted to renegotiate the terms of the tour but in the end, 50 Cent backs out and opted not to take part.

French Montana was also rumored to be on the tour but he too backed out for unknown reasons. Despite the absent of these two big name rappers, the tour seems to get off to a great start with a sold out crowd. The tour will run all the way through to May. Chris Brown is currently working on his new album Heartbreak on a Full Moon, due sometime this year.
