DJ Khaled Taps Rihanna For New Album “Grateful”

DJ Khaled has confirmed that Rihanna will be on his new album Grateful which is being executive produced by his son Asahd.

The We The Best Music Group head posted a bunch of photos of Rihanna celebrating the arrival of her vocals in his inbox. “THEY SAID KHALED CANT GET @badgalriri Vocals !Tell THEY I SAID HI.. @badgalriri VOCALS IS IN.. Turns out DJ Khaled manages to get exes Rihanna and Drake on the same project. It’s not known yet if both of them will be on the same single or different singles on the highly anticipated album. The Florida rapper also celebrates the success of his new single “I’m The One” going platinum after debuting at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart last week. The track featured vocals from Justin Bieber, Quavo, Chance The Rapper, and Lil Wayne. “ANOTHER ONE !! Khaled song “For Free” featuring was also certified double platinum. That track was produced by Nineteen85 and Future The Prince. Aside from Rihanna and Drake, we can expect guest appearances from the likes of Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Migos, Future, Jay Z, and more on the album. Grateful will arrive sometime this year and DJ Khaled promises that he would reveal the release date sometime soon. The album is the follow up to his hugely successful 2016 album Major Key. That project was released on July 29, 2016 and has since been certified gold. The project also debut at the top of the Billboard 200 chart after selling 59,000 copies in the first week of release.
