Jay Electronica is out of hiding with a brand new single “Letter To Falon” that is actually fire.
We haven’t heard anything from the rapper/producer, but on Monday he broke that silence with an unexpected new single “Letter To Fallon.” The last time we hear Jay Electronica’s voice on a song was six months ago on Emile Sande’s collaborative single “Garden.” Hopefully this new single signals a grand return and we can expect a whole body of work very soon. In the meantime enjoy this new joint until we have more details on his next move.
The Paul Epworth-produced single was inspired by Kevin Durant’s epic performance in the NBA finals against Cleveland Cavaliers recently. “KDTrey5 here’s a gift for you brother,” Jay Electornica tweeted. “I’ve been so inspired by your performance in the finals…. The last time we saw each other, you and your pops told me to release music.”
“Letter to Falon is dedicated to all who are pushing forward through adversity, hard trials and hate from the naysayers. #keepgoing,” he added on Twitter.
