Vybz Kartel Gave Ishawna Collab His Blessing

Vybz Kartel

Vybz Kartel gave his new Ishawna collaboration “Washer Dryer” two thumbs up we’re told.

Last month, the incarcerated deejay sparked some controversy around his collaborative single “Loodi” featuring Shenseea and produced by Elvis Redwood or So Unique Records. Someone inside the Gaza camp uploaded the original solo version of the song to YouTube. There were also some rumors that Vybz Kartel never okayed the song, and Elvis made it clear that he didn’t need authorization from the deejay.

Unlike that fiasco, sources told Urban Islandz that Vybz Kartel gave this new collaboration with Ishawna his blessings. The song will arrive sometime this month and was produced by TJ Records, owned by TJ Linton. “Absolutely this went through the proper channel, Kartel sign off on it, he heard it and everything is good, he was paid and no issues at all,” sources told us. There were some rumors that the song will be a “Equal Rights” part two type of single, but we’re told that this is a brand new single that has nothing to do with “Equal Rights.”
