Vybz Kartel Fans Should Stop Threatening Popcaan

Should Vybz Kartel fans stop threatening Popcaan?

The “Stray Dog” deejay has been getting a lot of hate from Gaza fans and even getting some death threats from some folks on social media who claimed to represent the Gaza. Vybz Kartel himself has not address the recent Popcaan and Gaza fallout, but his protege Shawn Storm released a diss track “No Frauds” that only serve to alienate Popcaan who is formerly known as the Gaza prefect. The song pretty much branded Popcaan as an “informa” which is the same thing as being a snitch in hip hop culture.

Vybz Kartel fans tends to take things coming from his side as gospel so the hate Popcaan is currently getting on social media is expected. But are some folks taking things a step too far by threatening the Hotskull deejay? A rep for Popcaan told DHH that he is taking the threats very seriously and is taking necessary precautions to ensure his own safety. “We have to take these things serious even though most of it is coming from some small minded people behind a keyboard and a computer screen,” the deejay’s rep said. “Our thing is too big for this right now but we are taking precautions because at the end of the day Poppy is a global star.”

Sources inside the Gaza camp told us that Vybz Kartel himself don’t want any harm towards Popcaan by any of his fans. “We don’t want the fans to harm these people we just want the fans to expose them,” Gaza sources said.
