Demi Lovato & Lil Wayne Drop New Song “Lonely” [Listen]

Demi Lovato teams up with Lil Wayne on a new single “Lonely” take a listen below.

The soulful joint is featured on the pop singer’s new album Tell Me You Love Me and was produced by DJ Mustard. While Lovato sings about loneliness and heartbreaks, Weezy comes through with a killer verse with a little Auto-Tune. “He felt just like you / His arms, his lips / His promises were just as smooth / His grip, it fit though I’ll admit that,” Lovato sings.

“B**ch can’t even say I miss you back over the fu**in’ text / Every time you slept over my pad, you over fu**in’ slept / Toni Braxton told me to breathe again, don’t hold no fu**in’ breath / Gave your a*s directions to my heart, and your a*s busted left,” Tunechi raps.

Demi Lovato previously collaborated with Lil Wayne on his R&B single “How To Love” and she has previously worked with female rappers like Iggy Azalea and Missy Elliott. Her new album Tell Me You Love Me also features her smash hit “Sorry Not Sorry” a song that she said JAY-Z helped her picked out as the first single off the project. “I played JAY-Z both songs,” Demi said in an interview with Noisey. “He said ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ because it was lighthearted. He was like, ‘A lot of people see you do the emotional thing all the time, but they don’t see you have fun!’ And I was like, ‘That’s such a good point.’ And [his opinion] kind of persuaded other people, too.”
