Quality Control Drops 30 Songs On ‘Control the Streets Vol. 1’ Album [Listen]

Quality Control gave us 30 new songs on their new compilation album Control the Streets Vol. 1.

The album features an all-star lineup including Migos trio, Offset, Quavo, and Takeoff. There are also some well-recognized names in the current batch of hip hop artists including Nicki Minaj, Kodak Black, Cardi B, Gucci Mane, Lil Yachty, Young Thug, Travis Scott, Ty Dolla $ign, and more. Nicki and Quavo are featured on a previously announced single, “She For Keep,” which is included on the project.

Elsewhere on the album, you will find Cardi B and her boo Offset on the single “Um Yea.” Like them or not, you can’t deny that Migos is the dominant rap group of this generation and individually they are still shinning. Their footprints are all over this project with Offset and Quavo teaming up with Lil Yachty, another dominant young rapper, for the single “Menace.”

Quality Control’s chief executive Pierre “Pee” Thomas and chief operating officer, Kevin “Coach K” Lee both put the star-studded lineup together. “There’s some artists we could’ve signed if we were trying to get some right-now money, but we’re trying to build something for the long run,” Pee told the NY Times.

The album Control the Streets Vol. 1 is now available for streaming on iTunes/Apple Music.
