Kendrick Lamar serves up a romantic video for his DAMN. single “Love” featuring Zacari.
More than six months after dropping the landmark album, K-Dot continues to deliver new visuals from the project. The cut was directed by Dave Meyers and Kendrick himself who put the idea together. The video starts out with the Compton rapper contemplating life on the beach while watching the sunset. The clip then transitioned into his romantic life while showcasing the ups and downs and the good and the bad of being in a relationship.
The cut shows scenes where Kendrick Lamar is laughing with his girlfriend through some happy moments and other times when they are arguing and resents each other where you can see him drinking alone. That then leads him to get a taste of the fast life and bright city lights with women surrounding him.
After going for a ride around the city with Zacari, he then makes his way back home to the welcoming arms of his girl. Kendrick Lamar already released videos for other singles featured on DAMN. including “HUMBLE” and “LOYALTY” featuring Rihanna.
