Did Chris Brown Take A Jab At Cardi B After She Made Billboard History Again?

Chris Brown seems to take a small jab at Cardi B after she tasted Billboard history once again.

The “Bodak Yellow” rapper became only the third artist in history to have their first three entries on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the top ten simultaneously. According to Billboard, the only other two artists to achieve this are The Beatles and Ashanti. Chris Brown doesn’t think that assessment is correct and addressed it with a statement listing all the artists who achieved that over their careers including himself. “Artists to have three songs in the Billboard Hot 100’s Top 10 simultaneously: The Beatles, Bee Gees, Ashanti, 50 Cent, Usher, Akon, T-Pain, Chris Brown, Adele, Lil Wayne, Iggy Azalea, Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, The Chainsmokers, Cardi B,” he said.

The problem with Chris Brown’s statement is that all these artists have had three songs charted on the Billboard Hot 100 top 10 simultaneously, but only three of those artists has their “first three entries” on the chart making it to the top 10 at the same time. Cardi B also became the first rapper to have her first three songs on the chart in the top 10 at the same time, putting her name in music history once again.

“Cardi B becomes just the third act – and the first rapper – to place her first three Billboard Hot 100 entries in the chart’s top 10 simultaneously, joining only The Beatles and Ashanti in achieving the feat,” Billboard wrote.

This doesn’t mean that Chris Brown is not a fan of Cardi B, it just means that he wants to highlight his own accolades too all while the media is zooming in on the new rapper. Chris Brown clearly want some respect put on his name and he deserves it, but he just misunderstood Cardi B’s achievement. In related news, Breezy is currently getting ready to drop some new music. On Wednesday he previewed two new songs on IG getting his fans hyped up for a good start to the new year. He didn’t reveal the title or release date for his new music but you can expect them sometime soon given the amount of music he has been releasing lately.
