Erykah Badu Clarifies Reports Of Stalker At Her Home

Erykah Badu has stepped forward to clarify reports of a stalker invading her home.

Moments after cops pulled her over in Dallas on New Year’s Eve, reports surfaced claiming that Erykah Badu had a running with a stalker at her home. The good news is, there wasn’t actually a stalker at her home and the bad news is a fan learned the hard way to never just popped up at a celebrity home or else you will find yourself behind bars even if its innocent.

“Peace and love Dallas, Texas,” she said in a video posted on Instagram. “In response to a story about a stalker breaking in, there was no breaking so stop it… story overblown. The only thing that happened was there was a kid on Twitter who follows me, has the hots for me, came over, wanted to look at me and do some music with me. He made a bad decision and then decided that this might not be the best thing and left.”

Erykah Badu says that her neighbors called the cops and reported that a strange kid was walking around the neighborhood asking if she lives there. She said the cops showed up and took the kid to the bus station and sent him home. Long story short, there wasn’t a stalker breaking in her home situation, just an overzealous fan made a bad decision to show up at her home.
